PROFESSIONAL  background

Hi and welcome to HAPPE spaces! I am glad you are here! My name is Heidi Happe, (pronounced happy:)) and I am the owner of HAPPE spaces. I am from Grand Forks, North Dakota and I am proud to say that I do have the ND nice in me:).

I studied Art at the University of North Dakota for two years and went on to Northland Technical College in Thief River Falls, MN and graduated with a degree in Architecture, Technology and Design.

Following graduation, I moved to Minneapolis to pursue my career. I was elated to join Target Corporation as an Associate Interior Office Space Planner at Headquarters designing their Corporate offices.

With my professional design experience along with my life experiences, I have developed a customized plan to fit each individual's needs.

I look forward to hearing  from you and I hope that I can be of service to you, your business and/or your loved ones needs.

Thank you for checking out my site! :)

With heart and gratitude,

Heidi

Modern Architecture

 A little more about me

I have great compassion for helping the elderly. When the difficult time comes and they can no longer live in their homes and coming to terms that living on their own is no longer safe, it can be incredibly emotional and oftentimes painful.  Parents, their adult children and loved ones are faced with decisions and discussions that need to be made such  as:

  • down sizing

  • selling their home

  • moving to Assisted Living/Nursing Home

  • moving in with their adult children

  • hoarding

  • grief

  • struggling with depression/too overwhelmed to care about their surroundings

  • daunting projects that have been on the 'to-do' list, but can't seem to get the motivation to get to it

  • next generation homes (an apartment within the house that is their own, but under the same roof)

personal notes:  full of empathy and my heart on my sleeve as I have hands on experience with loved ones who have struggled with extreme grief, depression and unfit, unhealthy living situations/spaces

moving loved ones  into a nursing home and assisted living

hands on experience as my family and I built a next generation home so that my mother could move in with us
